Marit is little sad, because her cute kitten has to move away. She isn't allowed to have all the kittens on the farm herself, even if she wants to. Other animals disappear by themselves, and the little alpaca baby who suddenly died has been one of them. This is a problem for Marit who doesn't like to say goodbye to animals she loves.

Because the turkey lived on the farm before, Marit doesn't want to eat it, and won't have mackerel as well. If she got to decide what she and her family should have for dinner, there wouldn't be any turkey and mackerel.
