The Sad Clown

It's a beautiful day and Sparkles & William are playing out in the garden. They hear a noise and, when they investigate, they find their friend Buttons the Clown sitting on the ground feeling decidedly unfunny. Buttons is terribly sad because he has lost his Funny-Bone, and without it, his sense of humor has gone too. "What good is a clown who can't make people laugh?" Sparkles and William try everything they can think of to restore Buttons' sense of humor - jokes, song & dance, silly props, even the 'All-Purpose, Slap-Happy, Silly Spell' - but nothing seems to work. Reuniting Buttons with his lost Funny-Bone is going to be the only way!

When William and Sparkles struggle to imagine a perfect present for the Queen of the Fairies, they decide that gold will be the answer to their troubles. King of the Enchanted Forest
When Sparkles dresses up as the Queen of the Fairies, William mistakes her for the real deal. Sparkles can't resist stringing him along until she can't keep a straight face any longer. William sees the joke and promises he'll play a trick back on Sparkles. Soon after, Sparkles is visited by the King of the Forest, King Bling. Sparkles thinks it's William in disguise. She makes cheeky comments about his 'costume' and declines to pay him the proper respect. When William himself turns up Sparkles realises her visitor really is the King! Poor Sparkles just wants to hide but William helps her to face up to her mistake.

A Giant Problem

Sparkles startles William as he practices a newly-created spell. Jack arrives with a mystery sack and asks Sparkles and William to mind it for him while he runs another errand. The contents of the sack attracts the attention of an angry Giant. Williams uses his new spell to repel the Giant. When Jack returns with two large sacks of gold Sparkles and William realize what he's been up to, and also why the Giant was so angry. Sparkles comes up with a solution to the dilemma, which makes the Giant happy and teaches Jack a valuable lesson.

The Frog Prince
Sparkles & William get a visit from a young prince who needs their help. He explains that he used to be a frog but an evil witch turned him into a handsome prince. Now he wants to go back to being a frog. Sparkles and William perform the spell but only once the strict conditions set out in The Fairy Code are met. Later that day, the arrival of a lovelorn Princess changes everything and Sparkles and William set out to search the forest, find the frog, and put everything right.

The Jolly Genie
Sparkles & William find a strange object in the Enchanted Forest. They can't tell what it is because it is so muddy, so they take it home to clean it up. It turns out to be a crystal ball and as they scrub it clean a Genie appears. The Genie is terribly homesick because he has been trapped in his bubble prison and hasn't seen his family for a long, long time. Even so, the Genie grants Sparkles & William the customary Three Wishes. William inadvertently uses up the first two wishes cheaply and the Genie asks if Sparkles and William know of a spell that can send him back home. Will they find a spell to reunite the Genie with his family? And, what will the final wish be?

Oh, Fairy Godmother!?
Sparkles & William meet the Fairy Godmother in the forest. She is boarding up her booth and is considering running away. Over a nice cup of moonbeam tea she tells Sparkles & William how her heavy workload is running her down and if she doesn't get a holiday soon she'll have to retire. Sparkles offers to stand-in for her for a day while William spoils her with some relaxing diversions. On the job, Sparkles gets to understand why the Fairy Godmother is so overworked - "These Princess are all such PRINCESSES!" Sparkles finds the solution that will lighten the Fairy Godmother's workload and William's 'Day Spa' works wonders on the Fairy Godmother's stress levels.

The Grand Ball

Tonight is the Grand Spell-caster's Ball at the castle of King Fuddy-Duddy, and Sparkles is very excited about getting her invitation. But, for some reason, William seems less than excited and makes excuses to get out of the house. A concerned Sparkles searches and finds William practicing spells in the forest and uncovers the real reason for his lack of enthusiasm. King Fuddy-Duddy solves William's dilemma and everyone's happy.

Magical Fairy Dust
While getting the Star House ready for a visit from the Queen of the Fairies, Sparkles runs out of magic fairy dust. The Queen arrives, but instead of helping Sparkles with her dilemma, she sends her on a quest to the deepest part of the Enchanted Forest to fetch the rare Fairy Floss Flower. After a long trek Sparkles and William find the flower - but capturing it proves a tricky task. Thanks to Sparkles' perseverance, they succeed and bring the flower to the Queen. It is only then that the royal fairy reveals that Sparkles' courage, persistence, good sense and kindness in achieving her quest are the vital ingredients for fairy dust.

The Cauldron Bug
There is a problem in the Star House. The cauldron is doing strange things and making weird noises. Sparkles & William consult the Spell Book who suggests they send for Felix the Fix-it Fellow to fix it for them. Felix arrives and diagnoses that the cauldron has a bug. Everything becomes more difficult when Felix is inadvertently sucked into the depths of the cauldron and can't get out. Now, while Felix tries to catch the bug from within, William & Sparkles have to find a way to get Felix out.

Witch Way

Sparkles and William are honored by a visit from magic potions guru Auntie May, the wise witch. She needs to borrow their cauldron to cook up 'a special secret recipe'. At first William is not too happy about a witch visiting their house, but Sparkles promises Auntie May is cool. As Auntie May works on her secret recipe, Sparkles and William hang around hoping to learn some magic tips, while in the process supplying the vital ingredients: butter, sugar, flour and milk. When Auntie May gets stumped on the last ingredient. Sparkles is sure she can help with the answer. Together they complete the recipe... and what a surprise it turns out to be!

The Trickiest Trickster
While trying to fly, William takes off his Wizbang Belt and accidentally leaves it in The Enchanted Forest. Elvin the mischievous Elf finds it and William and Sparkles have to solve Elvin's riddles to get it back. Elvin tries to make his clues and hiding places as difficult as possible so he can become 'The Trickiest Trickster Ever' and get his name in the 'Enchanted Forest's Big Book of Records'.

More Awesome

While Sparkles in out of the house, William gets a visit from Awesome Guy, who asks William for help to become even more awesome. After consulting the Spell Book, William performs the Spell of Exaggeration. Something goes awry and instead of becoming stronger, faster and braver, Awesome Guy is now weaker, slower and a big wimp. When sparkles gets home she helps William find out what went wrong and they discover the only way to fix things is with good old-fashioned hard work and practice.

Mary Quite Contrary
William and Sparkles agree to mind Mary Mary Quite Contrary's prize Petunia while she's on holidays. Mary leaves them with instructions for care of her plant. When Sparkles and William read the instructions they're baffled - they are opposite to normal plant care. William and Sparkles follow them to the letter, as promised. Sure enough, Mary's Petunia starts to wilt. William and Sparkles worry that they will harm Mary's precious plant - until they remember that Mary always says the opposite to what she means! They set about fixing things and Mary comes back from holidays to a healthy, blooming plant and a relieved William and Sparkles!

Ringo the Ringmaster
As Willam practices a new magic trick, he and Sparkles receive a flyer for Bungling Bros Circus Fantasticus! It will be performing in the Forest Clearing tonight. Sparkles convinces William to go with her and watch the circus setting up. Along the way the meet Ringo the circus Ringmaster who is trying to do the entire show all by himself. He tells them that his circus has 'run away' and intends starting his own circus. He recruits Sparkles and William to perform all the acts, but they make him realise that it won't work that way, but they impress Ringo when they show him William's new trick. Ringo eventually finds his missing circus and invites William and Sparkles to be part of the show. They perform that night with the likes of Buttons the Clown and Terry the Tumbler.

Rain, Rain, Blow Away
As Sparkles & William are getting ready to go on a picnic, a storm arrives bringing with it their old friend Whirly Wizard. Sparkles & William are saddened that their picnic plans have been ruined by the storm, so Whirly Wizard offers to call up a friend to blow the storm away. With Sparkles & William helping, Whirly calls up the mighty West Wind, which, not only blows the storm away but their picnic basket with it. If they want to have their picnic they'll have to find it. Sparkles and William head into the Enchanted Forest to search on foot while Whirly scouts from above. Things get trickier when William ends up getting lost as well. Will they ever get to have their picnic?

Seek and Hide

William and Sparkles are playing Hide and Seek outside. Sparkles is very good at hiding, but, when William hides, Sparkles finds him easily every time. While Sparkles is in the house retrieving a message from Awesome Guy, William decides to try an Invisibility Spell on himself to improve his chances. Sparkles returns in time to see William cast the Spell. The Spell fails to render William invisible, but Sparkles decides to have some fun and make him think he's invisible by pretending not to see him. At first, William enjoys 'being invisible', but soon finds it has its drawbacks. He casts a Removal Spell and heads home. Back at the Star House, Sparkles upholds the pretence for a while, but eventually, reveals the truth to a very relieved William.

The rioting Nadirs approach Mayor's house, but does the Mayor give them mercy? Part 15/18. The Company Man. Who is the supernatural man behind the influential but unknown corporation, and how does this all relate to the Mayor? And will Joy finally find out what happened to Hope? Part 16/18. More lies. Joy finally understands what this is all about. The Company Man comes to destroy the evidence and is about to destroy the entire building. Joy releases her anger at the Aliah who is trying to convince Joy of the danger. Part 17/18. Sacrifice. The menacing Company Man wants the evidence, even if forcibly, but Joy no longer intends to sacrifice others but to sacrifice herself again. Joy brings the evidence and confronts the most dangerous supernatural killer, The Company Man. Is Joy going to make it?! Part 18/18. Happy Ending? The Nadir riots are calming down and the dust has settled. Joy wants to make it clear to the Aliah how she mistreated other with the Star Program, but does the Aliah hear anything anymore?
