They are surprised to find the Maiasaura is protecting her egg and not budging, even withstanding the Alpha Gangs attacks. Zoe is able to calm the Maiasaura down and teach the boys what mothering is all about.

But as quickly as the D-Team starts to enjoy the island paradise, the Alpha Gang arrives, intent on stealing the dinosaur to bolster their own prehistoric posse.
