Investigation shows that he received a blow to the temporal bone at least one to 36 hours before arriving at the hospital. Philippe Lalande, 58, married with a daughter, combined his work as Head of the hospital's gynecology service with medical care at a women's association. Jelena Markusic worked in his team as a midwife and tells the judges they had a difficult birth with a young woman, whom the teacher saved but is in a coma; her husband threatened Lalande.
