After several years of run-ins with all levels of law enforcement in the state of Mississippi, Jeremiah James decided to call it quits and head to New York City with his guitar in search of fame and fortune. Yu Irie strikes again with the sequel to his surprise indie hit 8000 Miles - this time the boys of Sho-Gung get out of Saitama, only to take a backseat to the all female rap group, B-Hack. It turns out the lady-MCs out of Gunma have it even rougher than the boys. Like their leader Ayumu, who drudgingly helps out at her family business, the members of B-Hack all have strayed from their childhood dreams and are now looking for a new lease on life. Rekindled after a freestyle battle with Sho-Gung, the girls decide to get the band together and relive their glory days of high school. But the path to their supposed rapping stardom is riddled with setbacks and heartbreaks. Perhaps it is finally time to grow up. In revisiting many of the same themes from the first 8000 Miles, Irie successfully ups the ante in his sophomore effort - making his deadpan comedy even more unbearable, and his hard luck characters even more heartfelt.

Raleigh and Alan are dying of a contagious, incurable disease. To make matters worse, they've also been quarantined against their will, in the middle of nowhere, cut off from all their family and friends. Just when they thought their lives couldn't get any worse, a man by the name of Waylan gets assigned to their house... and shows them just how good they really had it. "Quarantined" is a refreshingly comical and poignant story about regrets, tolerance and never taking life too seriously.

An elegant lady on the outside, but in truth a cunning jewel thief: for Claire Vanderboldt, bourgeois: Klara Waldleitner, no coup is too complicated. The higher the security measures, the greater Claire's ambition to get to the object of her desire. After her recent series of burglaries in a luxury hotel in Lichtenstein, however, an old acquaintance thwarts her plans. Vinzenz Kröger, a former master thief who is now trying his hand at manufacturing industrial robots, steals from the thief and returns all the valuables to their owners. But although he saves Claire from being arrested by the police, she doesn't trust him and his declarations of love. He's cheated her too many times in the past. When Claire carries out a spectacular jewel robbery in Hamburg shortly afterwards, she has no idea that Vinzenz is once again on her heels. He involves her in a breakneck escape over the rooftops of the city - at the end of which the loot naturally becomes Vinzenz's possession. However, the elegant charmer is less successful in his middle-class profession. His company is on the brink of bankruptcy, the new robots don't work, and the deal that saved him with a large Chinese company is also in danger of collapsing. Thanks to his equally inconspicuous and witty assistant Martina Ahlers, however, Kröger discovers that his competitor Axel Tiedtke is behind the sabotage of his new industrial robots. Together with Claire and Martina, Vinzenz hatches a crazy plan to trick the unscrupulous Tiedtke.

The two long-term unemployed Günther Kuballa and Wolfgang Krettek still haven't found a job. But when her beloved hangout is up for sale and a multi-millionaire unexpectedly enters her life, completely new horizons open up.
