Martin manages to summon an emissary from the Dog Planet to Earth - a dachshund that can transform into a human. Mr. Dog, who is a janitor on the Dog Planet, befriends Martin and his grandfather. The two then persuade Mr. Dog to change the character cells of Martin's father, a pedantic accountant who doesn't like animals because they don't fit into his budget or apartment. The experiment fails, however, as the father is now kind, but in the form of the Bigfoot.
