S1.E7 ∙ Chapter 7: Girls Gone Wild

After years reporting mundane stories, small-town journalist Yura inexplicably receives visions of murders occurring secretly in his hometown. When he becomes the prime suspect in one case, his life is turned upside down.

The Gromov family - grandmother Vera Egorovna, her daughters Ira and Liza and pregnant granddaughter Olya with her henpecked husband Tolik - have lived all their lives in the center of St. Petersburg in a large communal apartment. Finally, they decide to leave and spend their shares of the apartment in their own way. But when collecting documents, it turns out that Dima, Ira's ex-husband and Olya's father, an alcoholic and manipulator who left the family a long time ago, is still registered in the apartment. Dima's long search leads nowhere, and suddenly he himself appears on the threshold of the communal apartment.
