S1.E6 ∙ Chapter 6: Launch Party

Corcovada is a 99year woman that lives in a small town, her great granddaughter Carolina comes to her house. Simultaneously elections for presidency are taking place and the preparation for the town's annual party as well.

The Gromov family - grandmother Vera Egorovna, her daughters Ira and Liza and pregnant granddaughter Olya with her henpecked husband Tolik - have lived all their lives in the center of St. Petersburg in a large communal apartment. Finally, they decide to leave and spend their shares of the apartment in their own way. But when collecting documents, it turns out that Dima, Ira's ex-husband and Olya's father, an alcoholic and manipulator who left the family a long time ago, is still registered in the apartment. Dima's long search leads nowhere, and suddenly he himself appears on the threshold of the communal apartment. The Gromovs will not only have to say goodbye to their plans, but also live together with Dima, who every day he goes on drunken sprees and behaves antisocially.
