For example: oral sex and anal sex are considered "outercourse" and a group of students will talk about how you can still call yourself a virgin if you engage in "outercourse".

There are some common threads: symmetry, waist to hip ratio and masculine and feminine traits that the majority are attracted to. And those attractions are all linked to sex and reproduction. But are there really universal standards of beauty?

Through thousands of years of evolution, women's bodies adapted to the environment, their hormonal cycles changed in rhythm with the cycles of the moon and engrained women with a concept and awareness of time. It also gave women control over sex. Fast forward to the new millennium when women are going through another evolution. Shows like Sex and the City, have opened up the doors.

It's inevitable. We will all get older, and unless or genitals fall off, chances are we'll still want to engage them in a sex. Even in our 40's, (hardly ancient) our bodies are changing, desires shifting and performance perhaps waning. What's going on physiologically and mentally in our less than youthful selves?

Studies abound hailing the benefits of touch - from the soft and silky skin of the newborn - to the hairy and wrinkly version we carry as grownups. The stimulation of our largest organ is fundamental to our mental and physical well being. Sadly though, not enough of us are being touched in adulthood. There is actually a market now for robotic hugs and even a new phenomenon in New York City...

Satisfaction

As the experts say - just because it ain't broke doesn't mean it's fixed. Absence of dysfunction doesn't equal satisfaction. And some prominent sexologists are just now trying to figure out what makes us satisfied in the bedroom. Other points for discussion: Many people are dissatisfied because they believe others have a more exciting sex life.
