The fifth series begins with the show placed into a tighter, two-hour timeslot (including "Telly Selly Times"). Guests include Billy Ocean, Coco and Terry Hall with Lenny the Lion, in an edition missing from the ITV Archives.
Jim Davidson and future regular Fogwell Flax make guest appearances, while there's some zoo cats on the show. Yet perhaps the most dangerous creature in the studio is Chris, who resorts to pushing some of the child audience out of his way.
"This is the stuff they want!" Sally gets to walk through a postcard and interviews the group Child, while a young girl in the studio can't stop crying. Only around 43 minutes of this edition exist in the ITV Archives, the rest is missing.
