Starting at the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, they zig-zag their way west across the top of Australia. They trek through some of the most remote sites on the Gulf of Carpentaria discovering hidden fishing holes, and buried secrets from World War II. The two adventurers then head bush to tackle some of the most difficult 4-wheel driving in the country, facing bogs and challenges that threaten to destroy their vehicles. The expedition culminates in the Northern Territory where they take in the indigenous culture of Arnhem Land, then head offshore for some of the most spectacular sports fishing Australia has to offer, before arriving at their final destination: the far-flung reaches of the ancient and untouched Madjellindi valley.
