Frank Thornton plays the waiter when Eric and Ernie visit a restaurant to meet Diane Cilento, who has agreed to appear in his play. The Pattersons perform 'Both Sides, Now'. Vince Hill sings 'Don't Speak of Love'. Diane Cilento stars as a shy talented girl in Ernie's play 'The Barretts of Wimpole Street'. Diane expects Rock Hudson to appear but Deryck Guyler appears instead. He does a little washboard musical number.
