Third time's a charm for the world's longest and most difficult horse race. Meet amateur rider and professional spitfire Kelsey, who is determined to defy the odds and ride all 1,000 kilometers across the Mongolian steppe.
As the race begins, heavy rains look to kill everyone's buzz. But even blue skies couldn't help Kelsey with her terrible navigational skills. No big deal. It's just endless plains as far as the eye can see.
Hot temperatures, lame horses, and lamer teammates push Kelsey to the breaking point. Also, one of Kelsey's horses runs away rather than hang out with her. Hmmm - Maybe her teammates aren't the problem?
Kelsey sets her attitude aside to rejoin her friends in group riding. Hooray. But then she gets ditched. Boo. But then there are some adorable baby goats. Hooray again.
Kelsey must decide whether to continue with her teammates or go it alone. Also, someone gets popped in the face. Not a horse face, so don't worry. Only a human face. Human faces are way stronger than horses and their tiny, weak bodies.
