In the first chapter of this foundation-shattering two-part special, the guys discover a disturbing truth about their friend Bill, which just might destroy their bond forever.
In the thrilling conclusion of the Big Problem with Bill, the guys try to decide if they can cope with living with Bill in light of new discoveries, and Amy and Dex discuss the future of the Forrest Gump musical in private.
Ted is less than enthused about his feather costume in the Forrest Gump musical. After Amy encourages him to stay in the game, Dex reveals that he has finally cast a worthy actor to play the part of Forrest. This could be the change of fortune Ted's been hoping for, or it just might be his last straw.
A nervous Bill confides in Jay to help him find a restaurant for his next date with Beth- preferably one that hasn't been defiled by a past breakup. Meanwhile, Dex presents the cast with some kinky costumes for his newly devised version of Forrest Gump.
Bill and Beth go out for Mexican. A few tables over, Jay half-heartedly watches out for Bill, but is distracted by Veronica's advances. Ted and Amy console one another over their recent theater debacle.
A defeated Jay announces he's leaving town forever. Feeling responsible for this, Ted jumps into a plan of action to keep his friend around and hopefully rekindle Jay and Amy's severed relationship.
Bill and Ted find themselves in a seedy part of town as they attempt to retrieve the accordion from Bill's dealer. In a state of panic, Bill spills his guts about some rather "large" secrets he's been keeping from the guys. At the bar, Lockwood tries to quell Jay's incessant whining over Amy before she shows up with Beth. When Lockwood is summoned to help Bill and Ted, a surprise visitor shows up to claim Jay as her man...
Bill, Ted, and Lockwood race back to the bar before their whole plan is blown, and Beth tries to distract Amy from a very drunk Jay while she stalls, but an unwelcome visit from an old enemy may spoil everything.
All hell breaks loose at the bar. Will Jay and Amy really make up? Will Ted mend ways with Jay and get his friends back together, or will Veronica have the last word?
