When Susan first met Ade' she fell for his charm but it wasn't long before she realized he wasn't the catch she initially thought he was and she wanted out of the relationship. Susan's father, who was living in an assisted care home, had a monthly income that Susan controlled. Ade'decided he'd like to have this money for himself and the only way to get it was to get rid of Susan. But she was soon missed and of course the people next to her are the first to be suspected and the police found the bathroom to be just a little too new, remodeled to cover evidence it appeared, or at least that's what Ade' thought he had done. Susan's body was subsequently found in a log in a heavily wooded area. Ade' tried to escape to the US, staying with Susan's uncle, but when the unsuspecting man didn't enjoy the intrusion, Ade' then fled to Calgary where the police caught up with him at the airport. During police interrogations, Ade' would change his story to fit the evidence. The ruse failed and Ade' was convicted of murder.
