Woody finds himself working with Detective Garcia who was the one who originally handled the case. Garrett goes to New Mexico and tries to get help from the local ME and is joined by a bounty hunter who wants to bring the man in so he can collect the reward.

Jordan and Devan are attending career day at a local high school when there's a police raid. They watch them get rough with one student and when he dies, there's a lot of assumption that the cops was too rough. So Jordan, Devan, and Macy try to find out what happened and learn that there was more to the boy than they thought. In the meantime, Woody, Lily, and Bug are investigating the death of an IRS agent and it takes them to a boarding house.

Macy and Peter, while responding to a call, come across a man who was hit by a car. Macy helps him while Peter freezes. Later Macy learns that the man who they turned over to some paramedics died upon arriving at the hospital. When he goes to speak to the ER doctor, the man refuses to discuss anything with Macy. He later discovers that several other accident victims died upon arriving at the same hospital. Woody and Bug look into the death of a journalist. They believe that his death may be linked to a story of his about a prostitute. A man arrives believing that the prostitute the journalist wrote about could be his daughter.

A plastic surgeon is found dead in the special facility where his patients recuperate after surgery. Initially suspicion falls on the man's partner. Later the focus shifts to his wife because they discover that he has been unfaithful. And when the body of a girl who's runaway is found, a search for a man who was the last person to see her alive ensues.
