How It's Made

CNC Assembly Machines, Lemon Tarts, Miniature War Figures
A Computer Numeric Control (CNC) manufacturing assembly machine is designed on CAD workstations, built from raw materials and components, and calibrated for production use. Lemon tarts are prepared from raw ingredients, baked in industrial ovens, frozen, sliced, and packaged for shipment. Miniature war figures are designed, sculpted, and molded into plastic and zinc replicas used for recreational gaming. The final subject is presented over two acts, which HIM sometimes does when the process is more complex. It is notable for including a sculptor whose right forearm has been replaced by a prosthesis.
