The team reels from the disaster of losing Alfred to the Nazis. Making matters worse, Aurora, Neil, Tom and Harry have been cut off from all communications with Camp X.
Alfred stuns the team when he risks his life to help British POWs escape, so they can help train the resistance leading up to the secret Allied operation that is just weeks away.
Aurora finds out from the German wife that she has befriended that there is a Berman bigwig visiting Paris. Harry goes over Aurora's head and gains the OK from HQ in Canada to kill the German General. They devise a plan to take place at the Opera. Aurora says that French people will be avenged by the Germans in a reprisal if the plan goes ahead.
Aurora struggles to maintain her leadership as divisions within the team grow deeper. A brutal midnight attack by German commandos threatens to destroy their fledgling guerrilla army.
The team is forced to mobilize to Dieppe without Aurora, unaware she's caught in a dramatic showdown with Franz Faber on a train. Sinclair's friendship with Klaus nearly costs him his life.
As the Dieppe attack takes place, the team have their own missions. Aurora and Alfred approach Franz Faber to try to get him on their side, but will everyone come out alive...?
