Lola and Maria are The Resistance against the suffering caused by the current political and economic crisis in Spain.

For various reasons, a group of Nahua migrants from the Huasteca area of Hidalgo state go to the city of Guadalajara, where they now live. This has a great social, cultural and economic impact on Santa Cruz, their community of origin. Several stories are found within this Nahua migration: a teenager who finishes junior high school and drops out to go work in Guadalajara; an experienced woman migrant who has done well in business and now plans to emigrate to the United States; and a young mother who leaves her children with her mother to go work in the city where, finally, she is murdered.

Laughter yoga is a form of exercise, which was developed in 1995 by Madan Kataria, a medical doctor from India, and is now practiced in more than 70 countries. It combines deep yoga breathing with laughter exercises for maximum health benefit. This film contains high-impact laughter yoga workout designed specifically for children, complete with a warm up, deep breathing, original songs, guided relaxation, and 27 unique laughter exercises. Each part of the workout is demonstrated by Laughing Laura and her 19 laughter friends, children ages 4 to 11.
