Manfro, the leading crimefighter of a specialized New York City task force assigned to the highest crime beat in America - the infamous subway, intercedes in yet another news worthy and life and death effort to save innocent lives. While off duty, he gets into a high speed pursuit (a homage to the famed chase from The French Connection), to capture armed supermarket robbers who fled in a getaway car, and despite them pointing a gun at him, he refuses to back down, leading to an unforgettable show down.
