After 35 years, Ricardo is planning to announce his retirement. Everyone seems to have their own opinion about it, but they all agree that Ricardo will not know what to do with his newfound free time. While Mau and Ricky play a show in Mexico, Evaluna, Marlene, and Sara decorate Mau and Sara's house with Christmas ornaments. The plan is for Mau to be surprised when he comes back. When Mau and Ricky come back home, the contrast is evident. Mau arrives at a warm house fully decorated with Christmas ornaments. Ricky, on the other hand, arrives at an empty house. Stef has been on set in Argentina shooting a new movie. Our episode ends with the family getting together at a local mini-golf spot to celebrate Ricky's birthday.

S2.E2 ∙ Navidad

Ricardo and Marlene have their morning coffee on Ricardo's official first day of retirement. Ricky begins to set up a surprise for Stef at the house. After hearing about Sara's surpirse for Mau, Ricky sets out to decorate the house with Christmas lights. Except he is not going to get on a ladder and actually hang some lights... Ricardo, Marlene, Mau, and Sara meet for lunch and discuss holiday plans and going on a snow trip to Colorado before everyone gets too busy. For Christmas Eve, the family gets together at Ricardo and Marlene's place. The day after Christmas, Ricky decides to throw a house party. Live traditional Venezuelan music and a mentalist provide the night's entertainment. The police show up to shut down the festivities. The next day, the story is in the tabloids.

S2.E3 ∙ Vacaciones en la nieve

The family arrives at a beautiful vacation house in Breckenridge, Colorado. The house is so incredible that it leads to an argument between Ricky and Camilo over a bedroom. The altitude also has an effect on Stef, who has a bad night and needs an oxygen tank the next morning. Will she be able to partake in the day's activities? Everyday the family engages in all sorts of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, walking and shopping around town, as well as building a snowman among others. Colorado offers something for everyone. But in their down-time, there's always an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue. Different conversations take place throughout the trip, including a talk between Marlene and Sara about the challenges of motherhood; a chat between Mau and Eva about how she has helped Mau tremendously as he navigates being a first time parent; and Ricardo and sons talking about reconnecting with their home country of Venezuela and the reasons behind the family leaving to the US a couple decades back. To wrap up the vacation, The Montaners put together one of their traditional "asados" (cookouts) with Mau behind the pitmaster - rain or shine. The trip ends with a great homemade dinner and lots of music, which helps the family recharge and get ready for a successful and eventful year.

S2.E4 ∙ Crece la tribu

After some well deserved vacation time, Mau and Ricky go to LA to finalize the last touches of their album "Hotel Caracas". Ricardo decides to get back in the studio. Although retired from the stage, his goal is to re-record his first albums in order to leave them as his legacy to his family. Camilo and Evaluna work on new projects, including a single release. However, the media and their fans jumped on the debut of the song to tease a potential new pregnancy. Feeling robbed of the opportunity to share the news on their own terms, Evaluna and Camilo announce their pregnancy with their new baby, Amaranto. The arrival of a new member of the clan overwhelms the entire family with joy. We end our episode with Mau and Ricky showcasing their new songs in an intimate live performance.

The family prepares for their trip to India. The majestic and exotic landscapes completely transform the family in different ways. Some of them, like Marlene, integrate perfectly with the culture, while others, like Ricardo and Ricky, need help adapting to some of the Eastern traditions. The trip begins in New Delhi, where the family explores markets full of people and colors. The chaos of the city completely envelops them as they move from one place to another in rickshaws. After a couple of days, the family heads to Agra, where their foundation resides. There, as the family connects with the children, they reflect on the important things in life. They wrap their time with a surprise visit to the Taj Mahal for the kids in the foundation.

S2.E6 ∙ Tan enamorados

The family heads to Jaipur, a mystical place where Ricardo and Marlene will celebrate their wedding anniversary. The location is the same where Evaluna recorded a music video a couple years ago. However, this time she had to stay home with Camilo preparing for the arrival of their new child. The preparation for the vows renewal ceremony has everyone in anticipation. Mau and Ricky are supposed to officiate the ceremony, but leave everything for the last minute. At the end, The Montaners engage in a spiritual celebration, full of tradition, music, and dance. The season ends with the family immersed in reflection, gratitude, and love for each other as Ricardo and Marlene renew their loving commitment to each other in front of the family.
