With Ben Burville we dive in the North Sea looking for dolphins. Then we go to Cragside, where Lord Armstrong lived in the first house to use and still use hydroelectricity. Finally we go to Druridge Bay where the presenter skinny dips.
We go to Northumberland National Park, where we are shown Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling. After College Valley, a wild camp in the Cheviot Hills follows. Finally we go to the Otterburn Ranges, and observe a live exercise.
We are looking at Northumberland's greatest historical treasures, by diving near the Farne Islands, to discover the wreck of a ship, then finding Roman relics, as well as the Corbridge Hoard. Finally, we visit Lindisfarne.
In Amble, we build a boat, before racing in the harbour. We then go to Allendale to see the Dodds on Britain's last horse-powered farm. Ending with the disused Alnwick to Alnmouth line.
We start by investigating Seaton Delaval Hall. We then go to a pub where a sword dance is performed. Ending with the conflict between native red and invasive grey squirrels.
The presenter visits several sites. Starting with smelly goats in the Cheviots, the murals at Wallington Hall, a sword and spur at Hesleyside and finishing on the Tweed river, netting and eating salmon.
