In what is perhaps the most visually stunning and politically captivating episode of the series, Smoke City Season 2 Episode 2 explores St. Louis' infamous "Delmar Divide", through an emotional series of interviews with residents Luke Babich and Traci Moore.

Smoke City Season 2 Episode 3 takes director Cami Thomas into Chesterfield Missouri, an neighborhood often regarded as one of the most affluent areas of St. Louis. Cami interviews Mark and Candice, and inter-racial St. Louis born couple who are building their family in Chesterfield.

Director Cami Thomas explores the St. Louis neighborhood of Hazelwood, with Travis (Tarek) Badran. A Palestinian-American, Travis speaks on how his experience in St. Louis mirrors his life in Palestine, and how he thinks his community interacts with the St. Louis police.

In the final episode of Smoke City Season 2, Cami Thomas interviews two couples who live on the North Side of St. Louis. The first interview is a with young, brooding couple Darius and Sommer who recently graduated from Washington University, and are looking to purchase their first home together. Darius and Sommer outline their life stories thus far, and their personal responsibility to be a beacon of light in an area that's often disregarded. In the second interview, Cami Thomas returns to her partial childhood home, in an emotional account of the city with her grandparents Jerry and Janice Jernigans.
