Kunetická hora - a strategic place, people have already spotted it sometime in prehistoric times, but the castle was built here only before the year 1400.
The castle in Becov can without exaggeration be called the guardian of treasures. The beginnings are related to the land route to Germany in the 13th century and culminated in the 1980s with the discovery of a unique medieval reliquary.
The castle in Horovice is vast, with 160 rooms. One of the rooms is quite unusual, in addition to the usual furniture, there is also the wreckage of an airplane.
The horrors of the Thirty Years' War did not get round the Stekník as well. Fortunately, a rich savior was found: the burgher of Zatec, J. J. Kulhánek, rebuilt the burned-down mansion into an impressive castle.
In the past, Uhercice was convenient for the nobility, to Vienna and even to Prague within a stone's throw - Those were good times when luxurious carriages were used. The subsequent brutal post-war treatment left deep scars on the castle.
