The team is determined to find out how hated math teacher Wiels got his promotion to school district director. The hacker sees on the very day he exchanged cash for a document, which he can't zoom into. So Kamiel takes the others to his HQ office, where they break the code access to look into his files. Meanwhile former ugly duckling Merel, the bar manager's daughter, joins their class as a vamp.

The crushing evidence leads to Wiels's dismissal as principal, but his reinstated sissy predecessor insists to his return as maths teacher, so he resumes bullying Skilz and their class. Only Quinten's genius spares them excessive punitive homework. Skilz may enter the inter-schools battle of the bands, to win a music class and instruments restyling.

The famous magician Vladimir lost volunteers who where never found after disappearing from his chest on stage. Qinten isn't interested, but his Skilz mate attend the next show in town. It happens again, yet Kamiel's initial search finds nothing. Quinten's girl Lara volunteers so as to observe from inside the box, but she too goes missing. The team frantically searches for her and the mystery, which connects with the magician's ambitious assistant's grim past.

Quinten is furious that his girl Lara became the next assistant of magician Vladimir to disappear from stage after his crate act, with Sjiz mates watching. While Quinten spots a suspicious character in the audience, Kamiel thoroughly examines the scene, finding traces of crate shifting. The investigation focuses on Vladimir and his crew, notably the siblings Jean and Julie, the latter being his former assistant demoted to roadie. Face recognition software cracks the case.

The magician's chest case cracked, although it's unclear why Lara's gift didn't help her, the Skilz team concentrates on band business again. Freek and Oscar want Merel to join their rock band, but dared to demonstrate their talent 'a capella', vandalize an 'organ set' of glasses and hurt everyone's ears. The diner keeper sends her clumsy apprentice to offer sample cupcakes at the castle, but she returns spooked by some (holographic?) specter. Skilz offers to do the delivery and is welcomed by the baroness, all in black, who warns them just too late the tenth stroke of the clock locks them up with her and the faithful butler under a spell.

The baroness maintains her castle is haunted, but Quinten isn't daunted to disprove that with his Skilz mates, finding it's all tricks operated by the butler from a basement control room. To the school kids' horror, math teacher Wies is back and pestering the Skilz gang again. Kamiel's father has elaborate business plans for Skilz as band manager, but the knave has other priorities. As he refuses to switch as drummer to Merel's band, she tries to steal him from Sofie by kissing him in school, despite his clear refusal. Sofie assumes he's falling for her posh fashionista looks and gets a makeover to compete against her in a local miss election.

Kamiel anxiously watches the miss election backstage, where 'band rival Merel tries to stir jealousy by pretending Sofie got to haughty to want to see him anymore afterward. Meanwhile despite Quinten cuing her by earpiece, the impossible questions make Sofie look bad on stage. SQo does physical sabotage, notably a severed stiletto heel, but the dump of trash on stage while the mystery man, watches is for another.

Skilz learns about animal smugglers, using nearby Zoersel military airfield. Kamiel and Qyuinten carefully observe to prepare a proper plan, but the girls foolishly pose as air-force members. They are but through unintelligible briefings and boot-camp style exercises by grim superiors, yet aren't identified as intruders.

Skilz is on the tail of animal smugglers, on a military airfield. Kamiel observes, moving only by bicycle. Quinten controls by virtual reality an airplane, with clueless Lara physically at the helm, but it's hard to combine with general coordination, so she screams during a few spins. Finally the fiend is located and the army informed where to catch him.

*Kamiel's father Alexander Mertens scolds the band lackadaisical, yet opts for a managerial alternative by stimulation. He treats them to a weekend in a 'subtropical' resort, provided they produce another hit song. Quinten is determined to get the job done, but the girls seduce Kamiel to enjoy some of the entertainment. The choice falls on the rare birds collection, unaware the masked plotter also focuses on the very bird they want to see.

While Quinten soldiers on to produce a hit, Kamiel and the girls take a long break to visit the bird house. They hear from a couple of visitors, also looking for the cucabara, there's a rumor the rare bird is stolen. That proves true, but as they give chase each's powers fail to help, so the masked culprit gets away. Meanwhile Merel, Freek and Oscar plot.at home to sabotage the band, intruding their HQ and tampering with the partitions.

After their abysmal failure to stop the bird thief getting away, the Skilz kids duly doubt their failing gifts, which indeed prove useless trying to locate the thief. Nobody knows how they get those, and the debate is reopened as Sofie postulates her necklace with the black 'moon stone' may be the source, especially now it seems to have turned dark just before the crisis.

At their school's annual sports day, Skilz's class plays preposterously-styled athletic 'games', opposing four teams in three events on land, in water and 'in the air'. Skilz does great as team orange, while Freek and Oscar's team red goes down the hole, with Merel even humiliated by a wet fall. Meanwhile the sissy female principal considers resigning before superior Wiels can fire her and the mystery fiend digs up the meteorite.

While the mystery fiend takes the meteorite to HQ, unpacks and blowtorches it, the symptoms get worse, giving all Skilz gets terrible headaches. Convinced it's all about their flashing childhood memories from when the meteorite fell and Sofie buried it, they decide to return there and dig it up. But at arrival, they only find the collected clippings about them.

Wiels gloats at the principal's barely-hidden panic as janitor Charles can't find any fault while electrics and water go berserk all over school. While Freek and Oscar's rehearsal to start their own band impresses nobody, Skilz must rely on Quinten's drone, which watches Merel becoming the latest victim of a purse-robbing motor-biker.

Looking into the purse-robbing motor-biker who hit Merel, Quinten's drone sees a crone and their own Sofie becoming his latest victims, manage to locate his spooky outdoors hide-out and recuperate the loot at night. While they return Merel's, including her mother's fat wallet, the minx, Freek and Oscar surprise-present their band, which enters against Skilz in the competition, with their brand new first song- which was stolen from Skilz HQ.

Quinten researches all recorded meteor impacts and related legends in the region, since the 17th century, and concludes the magical one must be where water and earth meet. He and Kamiel scout all likely sites, with the girls uselessly manning HQ as backup on Q's computer. Finally they locate the best spot, inside a theme park. It's also where the mystery fiend lurks around and has hidden the stone.

Quinten and Kamiel in turn enter the deserted theme park. While Quinten gives chase to the mystery fiend, in vain, Kamiel finds and searches his lair, where he finally finds the hidden meteorite, which they carry home triumphantly. Back in HQ, Merel bluntly refuses to withdraw her band Rock school's entry and the stolen Skilz song.

Quinten's main research source on meteor impacts and related legends in the region didn't yield enough information, so he puts their hopes on his fellow astrologer. His rare manuscripts happens to be on show in a nearby museum, so Kamiel and Q prepare to sneak in, borrow and scan it, then return it unnoticed. The mystery fiend still works at some master plan involving every Skilz kid and the stone.

Kamiel and Lara painstakingly get past the elaborate museum security with instructions from Quinten in HQ. They barely manage to start scanning the pages when someone starts the alarm, so they mast run and barely escape. The mystery fiend comes take the manuscript with him - it's Wiels.

Kamiel and Lara having failed to properly access the manuscript from the museum, unlike Wiels, he reads it avidly, they are reduced to what was published. Meanwhile the battle of the bands is at hand, and Skilz concentrates for now on opposing song-thief Merel, who relies further on a gizmo to artificially correct all vocal flaws while haughtily waving the brats' passes as infantile.

The battle of the bands is at hand, and Merel's pompous Rock School act goes peer-shaped after Quinten disables her voice repair gizmo. Kamiel and Lara finally find Wiels's lair in the school, while he attends he festival, but are dragged to the stage for the winning Skilz performance.

The battle of the bands ends after Rock School's humiliating defeat in another Skilz triumph. Quinten, Kamiel and their girls can finally follow Wiels from his lair in the school, as he took the meteorite to disable it from restoring their powers, which much happen that very day. They find him last moment, wrestle to prevent it being dropped in the lake and perform the ritual just like the first time.
