Mark gets The Hawk back to the Hawksnest and makes contact with Thea via the morse code. Thea makes a trap to catch the person stealing the food, but instead find a secret passage which leads outside.
Jim stops Mark from eating the toxic fruit he's collected and gives him directions to Skull Rock, warning him to beware of The Brotherhood. The mysterious girl Mary saves Mark from being captured by the Stormers.
Antonia, Juanita, Thea, Hans-Peter defend the castle from the attacking Stormers. Mark and Jim return to the Hawk's Nest to find Maria waiting for them.
Hans-Peter escapes from Dante and rescues Danni. Ogvat is bought in by the Stormers to bring back Maria. Maria leads Dante to the Hawksnest where Mark is.
Antonio is to be sacrificed to the smiting and he must follow Mark's instructions if he is to survive. Hans-Peter and Danni are re-united with Mark. They find the Fruit of Good and Evil but there is not enough to save two lives.
Thea is spared from being sacrificed by the Stormers because she had passed through the Malstrom. The Brotherhood meet up with Dante. Mark is re-united with Danni, Hans-Peter, Maria and Antonio.
The pirates along with Dante and Thea arrive at Skull Rock forcing the kids inside to flee into the jungle where the island's unique flora aid in their escape.
Mark gives himself up to Dante and Long John SIlver in exchange for Thea's freedom. Danni helps Antonio escape from the pirates. Thea makes an important discovery in the pirate cave.
Antonio fends off the pirates and, against Danni's wishes, invites the girl to join them, only to later learn she is none other than Long John Silver's daughter and they have been caught in a trap.
Mark tells the pirates he knows the location of the treasure and leads them on a long walk out of the camp. With the camp empty except for Jane and Mrs Sivler, Jim and Hans-Peter sneak in and mine the area with an exploding fruit.
Abandoned by Dante, Maria is rescued by Ogvat who is brought back to the cave. Mark devises a way for Jim, Hans-Peter and himself to safely venture out into the storm.
In the hidden cave, Mark explains his plan for getting off the island. Antonio faces off against Dante. Dante flees only to be captured by the pirates.
