The police dog handler is living with a new girlfriend, but he and Rebecka still have feelings for each other. Trouble is brewing between Sami reindeer herders and a local who takes money from rich tourists to poach on Sami land. When one of the herders is found murdered, Rebecka postpones her departure and investigates.
