The patrol bunch helps uncle Bob organize a sponsored run for guidance dogs. Emma nearly failed to help Lena, Niels and Jesse although it was her idea, just because her school pitch was ridiculed in class by pupil Tim, who seems frustrated. Blind Isa goes missing during the event with her buddy dog Vespa, having been left in the woods by her elder brother Tim, who is sick of his family paying attention only to her all the time. Tim soon regrets it but can't find her alone, which is easy for patrol dog Dapper.

Smelling food in the truck making the farm's weekly delivery, border collie Dapper jumps in, hides when driver Hans arrives and gets locked in unnoticed. Only when Jesse is returned from school early due to a sick teacher, he and grandpa notice the dog is missing. Dapper has escaped at the next stop farm and wandered into the nursery of a man with dog phobia, who calls the dog catchers for a 'very aggressive big dog'. The Puppy Patrol kids must find him first.
