Despite not making it to the nationals, the girls become eager to enter the next Love Live. event taking place next Spring. Mari eventually reveals to the others that Uranohoshi High will officially closed down. Chika remains determined to make a miracle happen.
Given the task of recruiting a hundred prospective students by the end of the year to save the school, the girls split into groups to write new songs for the next Love Live qualifiers.
Dia realizes that Kanan and Mari seem to have gotten closer to the other members of Aqours while she hasn't, and starts wishing that they would call her "Dia-chan."
Yoshiko finds a dog, but she cannot keep the dog herself because she lives in a condo. So she asks Riko to keep the dog until she finds a permanent home for the dog.
Aqours passes onto the National with 1st place ranking. However, the number rises and reaches 98 but the school is decided to be closed. The wish of every student reaches them, and cheers Aqours up once again.
Aqours has arrived to Hokkaido for the regional finals, and there they discover that Saint Snow were disqualified by a mistake during the performance. Now the Aqours have to do their best in the finals.
Having proved themselves victorious at Love Live, the girls begin their final day at Uranohoshi Girls' High School, where everyone paints messages all over the school building before Dia, Kanan and Mari undergo their graduation.
