A stranger attacks a waitress in a cafe and drags her to a white van. There are two witnesses but they give up their attempts to protect the woman when the man pulls out a gun. A bag of chloroform is found on the scene. It is yet another crime in a series that follows the same scenario. That means the detectives must find and catch a serial criminal.
