Iain Robertson embarks on a 215-mile coast-to-coast challenge of walking the Southern Upland Way, from Portpatrick on the west coast to Cockburnspath on the east coast in the company of actor Joe McFadden.
Having covered almost 50 miles of the Speyside Way, Iain Robertson is joined out of Dalraddy by River City co-star Sally Howitt and surprises her with a trip on a steam train in Aviemore. The pair enjoy the train bustling through the countryside towards Boat of Garten.
Packing in as much as he possibly can into the final third of the 131-mile Speyside Way walk, Iain Robertson celebrates the river's whisky tradition, fairy walks and even one of his favourite Scottish landmarks. He is joined by musician Paul Anderson and actor Joanne Gallagher.
