After narrowly escaping from the Kek fortress, Nick, Allegra, Jens, Euripides and Nepol contemplate the mysterious Kek Power Armor, which seemingly has the ability to enhance Nick's glinching energy beyond physical matter.
An energy surge brings a Nick from an alternate dimension into the team's reality. The two Nicks and Allegra search for the next key fragment in the tech tunnels below Dreejal Vin, and try to send 'Nicky' back home.
Allegra and Nick find the next key fragment being used as a medal in a televised game show, with champions of the Outer Dimension competing in athletic challenges. Nick and Allegra enter to try and win the key fragment.
A high speed chase with Bala leaves the Egg in a state of disrepair. Nepol doubts his abilities after damaging the Egg's reactor core. Nick, Allegra and Jens visit a tech trader to purchase upgrades for the TDN Module.
When the team realize they need one more key fragment, a stranded Galidorian named Lind appears who claims it is on Earth. When Gorm and Tager steal the key and the Egg, Nick plans to temporarily give Allegra his glinch energy.
The team follow Tager back to Nick's hometown, where the last key fragment is hidden. Jens, Nepol and Euripides must adapt to Earth, while Tager mind controls innocents to stop them. An unexpected arrival leads to a goodbye.
Euripides is captured and sent to Area 51, and the others try to free him. Lind returns, offering help, but Nick is distrusting. Nick finds an Outer Dimension vehicle at the base, the Mokarr, that can help them escape.
Nick reminisces on his time in the Outer Dimension while trying to rebuild the key. He tries to convince the others to wait for Allegra to return before leaving for Galidor.
