Costello gets a new helper in the person of an old friend's son, Archibald, and then a young Asian woman entrusts them to help find her uncle, who as a scientist was a key figure in an important scientific research.
Costello's former opponent, Gonzales escapes from prison and seeks revenge against Costello. He implicates Costello in a criminal case, who even goes to prison, but it soon becomes clear that Gonzales' plan is worthless.
