He is assigned a 'Big Brother' named George who makes Carl's life miserable. He even goes so far as to want to disassemble the Dog House, which he sees as the source of Carl's troubles.

His name is Buzz and he is a Jack-of-all-trades/handyman at the hospital. He is also loud, obnoxious, a slob and has three boys who are just like him. Ginger puts up with him for her mother's sake. Lois puts up with him for Ginger's. Carl has new products to market--fabric softener that doubles as after shave and drier sheets that double as hankies. He uses Buzz' Kids as test subjects.

Carl and Hoodsey must confront their fears regarding a Naked Mole Rat that escaped from the science lab.

It seems the new girl's father is a mortician and they live over the mortuary. When Ginger decides Laetitia should throw a party to introduce herself properly she finds it difficult to interest anyone in attending. Carl and Hoodsey suffer through Brandon's birthday party.

Ginger soon has second thoughts about this arrangement as Courtney and Ginger's mom have started bonding. Carl feels the need for a chin implant as he thinks the chin makes the man.

The emotions are very deep, troubling and sad and cause her to recommend Ginger to the school psychologist Dr. Leventhal. Ginger doesn't think this is necessary as it is just a work of fiction and not a reflection of herself. Carl and Hoodsey use vanishing powder on Noelle Sussman and Carl is horrified when it appears to work.
