Through the medium Madame Singoalla the deceased spouses of Märta and Albert permit them to marry once more. Herbert is invited to a séance with the medium, but he thinks that Madame Singoalla is a fraud.

It turns out that Albert is healthy, but Herbert is informed that because of some technical problems there are no results from his examination. Herbert is sure that the clinic is just saying this, because they don't dare to tell him that he is actually dying.
