Gordon the Mechanic: Gordon picks up the wrong person at the station, so he must rely on the help of friends to make things right. Thomas and the Storyteller: Thomas is asked to give a famous storyteller a tour of Sodor, but he gets sidetracked when his engine friends need his help too.

Hector is a very horrid coal hopper. Thomas soon has enough of the truck's rude behaviour and learns that Hector is only horrid because he is scared.

The engines can't go anywhere until some broken points can be repaired. Gordon is given the task of collecting an engineer to the broken points.

Thomas and the Spaceship: While delivering the mail at night, Percy sees flashing lights and is convinced a spaceship is nearby. Dream On: When Spencer boasts that he is faster, shinier and stronger than Thomas, Thomas tries to prove him wrong.

Henry is the only engine not being held up by snow because of some trucks which he believes to be 'lucky'. His luck runs out when his 'lucky trucks' go missing and he goes off to find them.

Thomas wants to go a festival with his friends, but he needs to deliver a new bulb for the lighthouse first. He wants to get the job done quickly so he can get to the festival, but finds out rushing his job wasn't the best idea.

The Mayor of Sodor is having a new sailing boat launched and Thomas is charged with delivering it to the ceremony. However, when the sail comes loose, Thomas finds himself unable to stop at the harbour.

A new engine called Billy arrives and Thomas must show him around. Billy is too excited to listen and mistakes Thomas' friendly advice for Thomas bossing him about.

Thomas is chosen to deliver The Fat Controller's brand new car to the Sodor Show. When Gordon challenges him to a race, Thomas is so determined to win that he does not wait for the workmen to couple up the car's flatbed truck properly. He races to the top of Gordon's Hill only for the truck - and the car - to race down the other side without Thomas.

After being repaired, Thomas skips his final inspection to take the school choir to their concert. Thomas starts to make strange noises and black smoke billows from his funnel before he breaks down completely.

Percy has to take Dowager Hatt's luggage to the airport, but he thinks it's an easy and boring job and keeps putting it off until it's almost too late.

Duncan is tired of delivering straw, and wants an exciting job. Luckily, Rusty doesn't want his job of taking passengers, so Duncan offers to do it. But he soon gets bored with that duty, and he takes on one of Skarloey's loads. But Duncan keeps taking on more jobs, and ends up getting none of them done, and his friends are to blame.

Sir Handel in Charge
Mr. Percival is running late and places Sir Handel in charge of a special. He has to find engines to carry the logs up to Thomas. But Sir Handel feels too self-important, and tries searching for the best engines, rather than picking the first engines he sees like the Thin Controller said. Soon, no work is done and Thomas' load is late.

Duncan teases Madge the Snub-nosed Lorry for being boring. Madge attempts to prove Duncan wrong, but ends up putting both of them in great danger.

The Thin Controller has ordered a new bike, but it has no bell. Freddie, learning from James that a bell is extremely important, wants to go off and find a new one to prove to James, Peter Sam and Mighty Mac that he is smart enough to know where to look. He finds several bells, but none of them are loud enough, and all together they tip the bike.
