In a village called Kampung Bukit Lalang which is located on the Malaysian Thai border, 10 KM from the Thai border line. A merchant named Abu Zakaria has come to this village and married Rubiah a rich woman in Bukit Lalang village. After that Rubiah sent him to Turkey to study religion, but when he returned, Abu Zakaria brought back a Turkish GRO woman who became his second wife. His return to the village brought some changes to him. He has absorbed elements of corruption and led some of the villagers astray. Abu Zakaria established his own Markaz which was named Markaz Khalifah and called himself Abu Ya. Since the establishment of this Khalifah Center, more and more followers from various races, religions or even lineages follow the heretical teachings of Abu Ya. With the extraordinary abilities he learned while in Turkey, it made Abu Ya stronger and more powerful. He married again to Adawiyah, the daughter of a Pattani separatist fighter and had another wife named Suraya. Because the misdirection that goes beyond the limits of all his activities has been known by the villagers and the authorities of Malaysia and Thailand. The perverse life practiced by Abu Ya's followers has become an attraction for the scum of society to join Abu Ya's activities. Markaz Khalifah was not only used as a worship center but also as a war training center complete with firearms. This story began in 2002 and was destroyed by the Malaysian Thai authorities in July 2005 for defaulting and attempting to usurp power from the Yang DiPertuan Agong.
