After escaping from Jumba through a wormhole, Stitch crash-lands on an Okinawan island called Izayoi, where he meets a girl named Yuna. Meanwhile, Jumba gets stranded on Saturn, reuniting with Pleakley, who had also been stranded there.
Yuna discards a postcard from her father that says he won't be able to see her for a while, and Stitch resolves to get it back. Jumba and Pleakley escape Saturn and reunite with Stitch, and Jumba makes a bracelet for Stitch to track deeds.
Yuna and Stitch meet and befriend the yokai Kijimunaa, who was was kicked out of his tree home by the bullying yokai Tachicchu after he won a sumo match by cheating. Yuna and Stitch teach Kijimunaa to fight back with his powerful sneeze.
Yokai Bojo loses his drawing passion and also his magic tail brush. Yuna is angered by Penny's bad drawing of her and Stitch's attempts to cheer her up. He then draws a giant version of himself using Bojo's tail, which comes to life.
Dr. Hämsterviel sends down Stitch's electric cousin Sparky to get Stitch's good deed counter. Stitch has to fight Sparky and figure out how to remove a mind-controlling headband Hämsterviel placed on his cousin.
Stitch's girlfriend Angel visits Izayoi to see him, causing friction with Yuna, who makes a wind chime for her grandmother. Angel sings her siren song as she develops a head cold, causing Stitch to revert to his destructive programming.
Yuna and Stitch find a large egg that later hatches, and the baby bird believes Stitch is its mother. He and Yuna have to return the baby bird to its real mother.
Yuna takes pictures of Stitch using Jumba's camera for a photo contest. The Stitches in the photos come to life and steal all the island's cameras, and Stitch has to stop them before they destroy the cameras to make a camera stew.
Stitch calls in his cousin Felix to clean messes without doing the cleaning himself. Felix ends up cleaning every single mess all around Izayoi Island's town. When he runs out of messes to clean, he begins cleaning away antiques instead.
The yokai Warrachi visits Izayoi to play amusing pranks on the island's residents. Seeing how they make people happy, Stitch plays several pranks of his own, but his much more intense pranks quickly get out of hand.
When Yuna's class visits the local pineapple factory owned by Penny's father, Yuna and Stitch find two yokai who look like pineapples eating the flesh off the unprocessed pineapples.
Yuna gets sick on the day of a festival and Stitch goes with Angel instead. Stitch meets a yokai kitsune named Dolores (or Foxy Biege in the English dub) who promises to make fireworks for Yuna in exchange for her own things, so Stitch goes off to get Dolores's things back by stealing them for the promise.
