When Buckley is responsible for Eddie's owner Dan getting hurt, Louise feels sorry for the guy and agrees to spend time with him. Meanwhile, Eddie is off to the Ice Capades on his own. Before he goes he buys an Eddie-look-alike stuffed animal, then puts a Dictaphone in it that spews out edditudes at just the right moments. Pissed, Buckley pushes it under a truck; leaving everyone believing the real Eddie is gone. This proves too much temptation for Eddie, who pretends to be his own ghost when he returns home. He's having a ball, but not everyone wants in on his game; especially the love sick Buckley.
