Almost a year after the first adventure, Dean is back with a brand new team. After a short and hectic pre-production, the team are leaving to climb back to the top of Mt. Fuji. 50 days of travel and unforeseeable adventure await them all.
From Mt. Fuji into the beautiful Izu Peninsular. They continue on to the beautiful beaches of Shimoda and eventually to Izu's most southern point, Irazaki. Here, on the final day, Dean trades the bike for a kayak.
A near marathon distance uphill run pushes the team to the limit, and with Megan matching Dean every step of the way, she has established her place on the team as way more than the sexy girl in pink - This is one tough chick.
Their journey takes them along the east coast of Japan, which is famous for its seafood delicacies - including octopus sashimi which is served still squirming. Their final destination is Nagoya Castle in Aichi Prefecture.
The team wander into the most inviting and fascinating temple any of the team have ever experienced. An afternoon is spent with the priest learning how to make green tea and the temples practices. Eventually they Travel to Ise by kayak.
Pilgrimage routes run through the mountainous Wakayama Region and the Magose-toge trail, is the teams first taste of the Kumano Kodo trails. They finish this journey at the tallest waterfall in all Japan, Nachinotaki.
