On the final day of summer vacation, Kokona is ready to spend some long-awaited time with her mother, but these plans are unfortunately canceled due to work. Opting to go outside instead, she takes a stroll down a familiar path - one where fond memories appear at every corner. Later, in the middle of autumn, Aoi and Hinata are looking through a scrapbook of their childhood. Snooping around in Aoi's room, Hinata finds that she has kept a strange acorn as a keepsake, but doesn't remember the reason why. As its discovery dwells on her, a wave of old memories comes forth, causing her to reminisce about a forgotten event from her childhood.

Doremi is in a panic. She needs to prepare a cake and deliver it, but she worries she might not have enough time to do so. Noticing this, Onpu and Pop agree to help her, and together the three of them are able to prepare the cake in 20 minutes. However, Doremi still needs to deliver it on time, so she hurries out of the Maho-do with Pop trailing behind her. On their way to the delivery location, the pair encounter a road. Pop begins to look both ways but is stopped by Doremi, who haphazardly rushes across the road and nearly causes Pop to be struck by a moving car. When they encounter a stop sign, Doremi ignores it, causing a motorcycle driver to abruptly stop to avoid hitting them. They continue to hurry to the delivery location, quickly crossing a busy road before the traffic light changes. When they finally arrive at a large house, Doremi opens the door to find it completely empty. Suddenly, much to their surprise, the Witch Queen appears. She explains that she ordered the delivery to test Doremi's knowledge of traffic safety and warns her that if she continues to ignore the rules, she will lose her witch apprentice status. Then, Onpu arrives and, wearing a police uniform, teaches Doremi and Pop rules of traffic safety.
