Episode #1.4

Tue, Oct 15, 2019
Settling the deal with Lord Neverember for their delivery of Wildsong, the group accepts his offer to stay at Castle Never - an offer that his valet later clarifies was definitely intended as a bribe to stay quiet about the Lord buying illicit drugs. On their way into the castle, the group meets Taran Q'Vore, who is disgusted by Dirty Hank's smell and uncleanliness, so Neverember's valet Golmar hustles them away to their rooms to bathe and dress in tailored finery before attending the evening banquet. Before dinner starts, Q'Vore overhears guests plotting, and the coup is sprung as a waiter serves poisoned food to Neverember and other plotters try to poison everyone in the party. Q'Vore flies Neverember to safety as the Baes - with a little help from Hadal - murder most of the usurpers.

Episode #1.7

Tue, Nov 05, 2019
The crew finally meet with the Aarakocra to hear the details of their job offer. After agreeing to terms and meeting the other pirate hired to help, Ilyrio Lupineheart, they travel to the Barony and set out to find the Hill Giant. Eventually they discover the giant digging in the mountainside, apparently looking for something more than the valuable obsidian it is finding and tossing aside. The crew attacks and quickly discovers that the giant is wearing an illusion, and is actually a fire giant. In the midst of battle, Ilyrio is overcome by a migraine and morphs into Gary, who is desperate to get Dirty Hank's lantern. Hank, Eoj and Gary fight over the lantern while Addi finishes off the fire giant. Gary explains lives are depending on him destroying the thing inside the lantern, and with a push from Hadal, Dirty Hank destroys the lantern itself, causing darkness to cover the land, and Gary/Ilyrio to drop dead.

Darkness falls again, and Jarmi appears to them all, thanking Dirty Hank for releasing him - although it may have kick-started the apocalypse. The crew return to the Aarakocra for payment, and Eoj raises the idea of the apocalypse with the Dauphin who admits they have experienced portents and warns him about Tor Alach Apti and her thrall. The crew go to the local markets to sell gear looted from the Fire Giant, but are attacked by a snow storm, a frost monster, some kind of frozen reincarnation of Jimmy Buffett, and Gwendolyn.
