Claire, to redeem herself from her family's fault, gets involved in the case of the gang rape of an activist, Ludivine, a video of which is circulating on the Web; only one rapist appears there: Wahab, a young Moroccan living illegally.
Through the re-enactment, the four criminals are arrested; the gang leader denies the charges; Claire has no proof, aside from Ludivine's identification, and she summons Mark.
Claire, who ended up obtaining the gang leader's confession thanks to a bluff, understands that it was not the criminals who filmed; she persists in finding the author of the video without knowing that she is sleeping with him.
Claire, feeling guilty about her deception, is devastated when she realises that it was Mark who filmed the rape; Mark tries to free Rachel, but he fails miserably and weakens his relationship with Krystel, his assistant.
Claire confronts Mark about the video, but he denies it; Claire goes looking for evidence at all costs; the revelation of her affair with Mark causes her to lose her relationship, her credibility and her job.
Thanks to Claire's revelations, Simon Delval benefits from a dismissal. However, the situation goes from bad to worse for the judge who gets bogged down in her obsession to prove Mark's guilt.
Claire fails to validate the thesis of Mark's guilt; powerless, she decides to retire entirely from her professional life, but if she has lost all her faith in justice, she has not lost hope.
