1800 - 1840 Denmark has not always been a small, happy, rich country. And our prosperity did not come about by itself and must not be taken for granted. In this series, Liv Thomsen gives voice to Underdanmark, the other half, those who lived in the shadows, far from the polished floors and nice bourgeois homes. We tell about the wrong sides of the past 170 years and begin with the story of the murderer Ole Kollerød. He lost his head at Amager Fælled in 1840. But left behind a completely unique testimony of a life full of violence, crimes - and love.
