Like many other Filipinos forming the large Overseas Foreign Workers (OFWs) pool, Igorots have also come to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in search of employment. They leave behind their families living in the small towns and farming communities of the high Cordilleran mountain range of northern Luzon. The Igorots have a rich cultural heritage quite distinctive from lowland Philippines. How have they adjusted to life in multicultural Malaysia? This film documents the lives of three women Igorots who have worked in Kuala Lumpur for different lengths of time.

WHAT HAPPYNS: Merging Urban Skateboarders and Lawn Bowlers is a 45-minute documentary by award-winning filmmaker Ric Beairsto which looks at the convergence of opinion which occurs when youthful skateboarders and elderly lawn bowlers are asked an identical set of questions. The questions are ones like, 'What is meaningful work?', 'Who Is a hero to you?', 'Do you believe in an afterlife?, and, most critically, 'Are you happy?' The result is a quirky blend of wisdom, insights, frustrations and regrets unlike anything you've ever seen before.
