Cora and Alice, daughters of the colonel Munro, travel on a convoy toward Fort Edward. During the journey they are attacked by redskins. They are helped by Hawk's Eye, Uncas and Big Snake. Cora falls in love of Uncas.
The colonel Monro sends Magua to ask reinforces by general Webb. Magua finds the fugitives and suggests them a shortcut, but Hawk's Eye, Uncas and Big Snake identify him, like the head of Urani.
During their journey the fugitives meet a curious man: David Gamut, a naive entomologist, who joins to them. Uroni arrive and fugitives hide in a cave. Cora, Alice and David are enclosed and hope to be saved.
Magua tells to Cora and Alice about his hate for their father and the will to marry Cora. Hawk's Eye and others arrive and save them. While David finds a bear, and names him, Nootka.
During the journey they meet many deer's hunters. A wolf, Yaku, guides them to a camp, and discover that Piccolo Pugnale was captured by the hunters. They save him and he joins to the company.
Monro sends Duncan to find Magua. During the journey finds Piccolo Pugnale and captures him. So Yaku returns to the company, giving the alarm. Magua tries to kill Duncan, but fails.
Hawk's eye, Uncas and Big Snake meet a great moose, which tries to kill them. So they decide to kill moose, violating the holy Indian rules, but discovers moose is the protector of a forest, and renounce.
Duncan has to attack the French Army, but Magua advises French general to change journey and surround the Englishes. So Duncan is defeated, and rests only one survivor.
Company arrives in a Quaker's village and the inhabitants give them hospitality. French Army arrives, so they mask like Quakkers. Magua decide to attack and set fire on the farm.
Company, hidden between the Quakkers, asks hospitality to a redskin village. The following day, Quakkers have to cross an Indian cemetery. Only John crosses it, and is killed. So Big Snake gives his blood to save John's family.
Monro decides to attack French Army and the general Montcalm, but a group of French was saved by Mohicans. Then he tries to return to Montcalm but is killed.
Company arrives to Fort Henry. Alice and Cora are glad to see the father, but Hawk's Eye and Uncas is treated like savages. Monro doesn't accept relationship between Cora and Uncas. So three warriors go away.
French Army continues siege across Fort Henry. So Monro sends a courier to ask help to Webb, but he refuses. Magua kills the courier, so Hawk's Eye and Uncas go to Monro and refer, but he doesn't believe it, and decides to kill Hawk's Eye.
Uncas and Big Snake save Hawk's Eye, while Monro accepts the capitulation. Montcalm decides to not kill the Englishes, but Magua attacks them and kidnaps Cora. Only Duncan, Monro, Alice and Gamut rest alive.
The survivors arrive to Fort Edward. Monro renounces to the position of colonel and leaves with Duncan and a group of Englishes to save Cora. Alice and Gamut ask help to Mohicans. Monro is attacked by a tribe and escapes on an island.
Company attack and win against the Uroni. Magua escapes with Cora and creates a trap for the company, but they are saved by Uncas. While Alice has the fever.
During a storm, the company looks for a refuge for Alice. French Army captures everyone, except Uncas and Big Snake. They are taken to Fort Ticonderoga. Heindriks decides to help them, so they escape.
Magua gives Cora to an old woman to protect her. Gamut is captured by the tribe Senaca, but fakes to be a shaman. Magua tries to create a trap for the company, but fails and rests injured and falls down in a river.
Uncas and Big Snake go to find a cure for Monro. The company is captured by the tribe Seneca. They find Gamot, who saves them. Magua tries to return to Cora.
Cora is treated like a slave by the old woman, but makes friendship with a wolf, named Testa Nera, which helps her to escape. Magua returns in village and decides to kill the old woman, but is captured by Uncas and Big Snake.
During a storm, company find a refuge in the motel of Philippe Dupont and Cerva Bianca. A group of hunters decide to set fire to motel, Dupont died, Mague kidnaps Alice and Cerva Bianca decides to join the company.
Magua gives Alice to a group of Uroni, and starts to look for Cora. He saves her from a hunter, who wants to kill her. Duncan is crushed by avalanche, but he is saved by Cerva Bianca.
Cora is found by Yaku and Piccolo Pugnale. Englishes and Mohicans arrive to the tribe that has Alice. Gamut fakes to be the shaman and saves her. Duncan and Cerva Bianca fall in love.
Company finds Cora. In the tribe Delaware Magua asks Cora like bride, but Monro says she has to marry Uncas. Magua challenges Uncas. Uncas kills an eagle, but Magua stoles it, and becomes the winner.
