A government agent is caught in the explosion of a government underwater salvage operation. He finds himself capable of turning himelf invisible, and sets out to use his new powers to prove that the explosion was sabotage.

A man is surgically altered to look like Sam. And when the real Sam goes on vacation, they try to have him killed. But Sam escapes. The impostor is then sent to Intersect and while there, he photographs some sensitive material and gives it to his superiors. But Sam calls and Leonard knows, the man with him is not Sam so they capture him. When Sam returns, they learn what he did, so Sam decides to replace him and go get what he photographed.
Sam wakes up in a motel with no idea how he got there. He then goes in and when Leonard sees him, he pulls a gun on him and tells him that he thinks Sam killed another agent, whom Leonard fired. Sam doesn't believe he did what Leonard says he did. He goes on the run. He meets a woman who helps him. Later they go to Abby who after talking to Leonard says that he sent the agent on an undercover assignment and that he has a video that shows that Sam killed the agent. Abby gives him a copy and when he sees it he says that the man was alive when he left and the tape was altered. So he sets out to find the actual tape.
Casey's attempt to help a noted female scientist defect from an Iron Curtain country is hampered by the woman's daughter, whose attachment to a double-crosser jeopardizes the trio's escape.
