Megan loses her hand modeling job when Alicia's beauty inspires the owner to change his product line. Neil tries to help by getting Dennis to hire embittered Megan. She takes revenge by writing a fictionalized villainous Alicia.
Dennis Lake is making a sequel to The Bride of Marsh Man and needs Alicia to reprise her role. Alicia is willing to overlook her hatred of Dennis only if Neil is allowed to direct. Dennis talks Neil's father into investing in the film.
Alicia wants to throw a surprise birthday party for Neil but he doesn't want it. She invites all of his old school friends. He reconnects with best friend Gerald which leaves Alicia feeling like a third wheel.
