Welcome to Amersham station. In Zone 9 at the end of the Metropolitan line, we kick off here in this new series, ticking off all the stations at the ends of the lines on Tube Map
You don't just walk into Morden - you take the tube there. It's End of the Line Episode 3, and we're down in Zone 4 in South London at the end of the Nothern Line.
Back to North London we go. And a train up to Zone 5 at the top of the Piccadlly line - how DID Cockfosters get its name? And how the heck does Charles Holden make stations made just out of concrete look so good? Let's go for an explore.
Out to East London we go, to the extremity that is Upminster at the end of the District Line. It's in Zone 6 and shares the station with National Rail C2C services, but have you ever been? No? That's OK i've been for you.
Back to the other end of the Piccadilly to Uxbridge, which is also a Metropolitan line station. Is Uxbridge the most architecturally stunning station on the network? Let's go to Zone 6 again and find out.
It's time to go to a very quaint End of the Line. In this episode, we're all the way out in Zone 9 in the far top left corner of the Tube Map. Say hello to Chesham.
Let's do the top of the Northern Line. This time to the extremity of it's eastern branch out in Zone 5 in Barmet - or High Barnet, or Chipping Barnet. What IS is called?
End of the Line is back. And it's time to hit up that most famous of London postcodes - E17, as we head to the top of the Victoria Line to Walthamstow Central
We're at the top of the tube map, top of the Bakerloo, out in Zone 5, and did you know there IS an actual stone in Wealdstone and the oldest possible Tube Station building?
We're headed to the top of the Jubilee out in Zone 5, but did you know this branch has previously been on two other lines? Let's see what's at Stanmore
Let's go to an unusual end of the line, because TWO lines terminate here - the District AND the Central out Zone 3, west London at Ealing Broadway. Is the the most busy End of the Line so far?
End of the Line is back. And it's time for the penultimate episode in the series, out in Zone 4 to Richmond, as we look around this splendid station that's right in the town center that's right next to the River Thames.
It's the final End of the Line - probably. As we head out to Zone 3 on the District Line and go and make a fuss of Wimbledon. That's where they play all the tennis, right? And ( most importantly ) does it have - A CAR PARK !?
It's an End of the Line Bonus video. As I've been to Mill Hill East before, when doing the "Least Used Stations" series on the Tube, but I thought that there might just be a way of doing it again, even it it was strangely familiar.
You didn't think I'd not do the rest of the stations that are Ends of Lines did you? :-) Welcome to Aldgate. At the end of the Metropolian Line, right in Zone 1 in the City of London, and it's a lovely terminus station .
We're at another End of the Line in Central London. The southern end of the Bakerloo Line is Elephant and Castle and actually borders Zones 1 and 2, and there's loads to see
We've still not done all the End of the Line on the Underground. Although District Lines trains keep going onwards to Upminster, the Hammersmith and City Line very much terminates at Barking - an extremely busy station.
I'm visiting the other End of the Line on the Hammersmith and City - to Hammersmith itself, a marvelous gem of a station often overlooked by its District and Piccadilly counterpart on the other side of the road.
There's another End of the Line station, in Zone 1 in the heart of London. And it's a double Terminus because both the District and the Circle Line use it as their End of the Line - welcome to Edgware Road.
There's another End of the Line station, in Zone 2 in the heart of London, only a small number of trains per day to go/from Kensington Olympia. So I went along to see actually it's mostly served by Overground trains.
