The event hosted some 10,000 visitors and was chock full of vendors selling everything from blinged-out pet jewelry to custom-made doggie doors. Live entertainment included demonstrations by the Gilbert Fire Department's accelerant sniffing dog and Gilbert Police Department's K-9 Unit, there was a huge raffle, pet trick contest, human/canine Halloween costume contest, a record 150 dog washes, one human engagement, and the always popular adoption alumni parade.
